Book Your Dancer's Evaluation / Trial Session

Thank you for your interest in joining DSJ Dance Studio!

​

All new students are invited to attend an Evaluation & Trial Session before registration,

  • the session consists of two parts: 30–45 minutes of dance evaluation and trial activities with the student; and approximately 15 minutes of meeting of a Parent/Guardian Meeting .

  • Our evaluation is not an audition. We are not simply looking for dancers with the strongest technique, but value child's learning attitude, focus, musicality, commitment, and potential for long-term growth.

  • At the same time, we are also looking for families who share our philosophy of dance education and are committed to supporting their child's learning journey. We believe that a positive partnership between the studio and families is essential to every dancer's success.

Please review our [Class Information Page] for basic details such as class location, schedule, and tuition, and [Policy Page]Studio Policies before submitting your request. This helps ensure that our program matches your family's expectations and availability. 

Evaluation Policy

  • The first Evaluation & Trial Session is complimentary.

  • Sessions may be conducted individually or in a small group, depending on scheduling and student availability.

  • Students who arrive late and are unable to complete the scheduled evaluation will be required to reschedule, and a $35 rescheduling fee will apply.

  • A $35 rescheduling fee will also apply to missed appointments without prior notice (No-Show).
